Financial Engineering plays a central role, as a competency centre which supports the various business areas, with three main purposes:
- to develop pricing, risk monitoring, market watch and position keeping models for financial operations carried out by the trading desks;
- to support the desks in structuring financial operations;
- to develop new types of financial products in order to expand the range of products.
